No. Whitening gel only lightens natural enamel. If you have visible front crowns or bonding, we will talk about timing so everything matches afterward.
Yes, when supervised. Peroxide gels at professional concentrations do not dissolve enamel. Temporary sensitivity is the most common side effect and fades within a day or two.
We generally recommend waiting until at least 16, when the nerves inside the teeth have settled, and only after a dental exam.
